Your conversations with Cove are private. Here’s how we look after them.
What this is
Natter is a private space to talk things through with Cove, an AI companion. This summary explains, in plain language, what we hold and why.
What you tell Cove
Your conversations, the answers you give during onboarding, any tasks you set, and the gentle summaries Cove keeps so it remembers you over time. This can be sensitive, mental-health-adjacent information. We treat it that way.
How it’s stored
Your data is stored on our backend (Supabase) and is scoped to your account — other users can never read it. We use it to run the app for you: to hold the conversation, personalise Cove, and build your private roundup. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
AI processing
To reply, the text of your messages is sent securely to our model provider (Anthropic) to generate Cove’s response. It is processed to answer you, not to train a public model on your identity.
Crisis resources
Cove is not a therapist and not emergency support. If something you write suggests you may be at risk, the app may surface real-world help (the Get Help screen). Those resources are always reachable, free, and never behind a paywall.
Your control
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, conversations, memories, tasks, and roundups.
